Andy Williams leaves it late as Northampton hit back to draw at Exeter

Andy Williams struck a 90th-minute equaliser as Northampton twice came from behind to draw 2-2 at Exeter.
Williams headed in from a late corner after the hosts had held on to a 2-1 lead they had gained in the first half.
The Grecians made a good start and got the opening goal after 14 minutes when Jake Taylor latched on to a pass from Lee Holmes and smashed the ball past David Cornell from 10 yards.
The lead only lasted 12 minutes as Northampton levelled after a goalmouth scramble. Sam Hoskins led an incisive counter-attack and saw his shot saved by Christy Pym, but as another effort was cleared off the line, the ball ricocheted off Billy Waters and ended up in the net.
Holmes drilled a low shot wide as Exeter got back on top and they went back in front just before half-time, although there was some debate as to who got the goal.
Craig Woodman’s cross was headed goalwards by Jayden Stockley and after the ball cannoned off the inside of a post, it was not clear if it had crossed the line before Nicky Law made sure by pouncing from close range.
Exeter had chances to kill the game off and paid the price for not doing so when a corner in stoppage time was headed into the net by Williams.
