Man Utd open contract talks with senior trio

Manchester United are now in new contract talks with three senior players.
The Manchester Evening News says United have opened talks with Juan Mata and Ander Herrera over new contracts.
Mata, 30, and Herrera, 29, are out of contract in the summer and free to negotiate terms with rival clubs in the January transfer window if they enter the last six months of their existing deal.
However, United have opened dialogue with Mata and Herrera's representatives in an attempt to keep them at Old Trafford beyond 2019.
Ashley Young is the only other United player out of contract in June and without the option of an additional year and the club has offered the 33-year-old a one-year deal.
