Henderson at the double for table toppers Edinburgh City

Blair Henderson scored twice as Edinburgh City returned to the top of Ladbrokes League Two with a 2-1 win at bottom club Albion Rovers.
The capital club had been displaced by Peterhead but took advantage of the Blue Toon’s 2-0 defeat at Queen’s Park to take over in the title race.
Henderson reached 10 league goals for the season by heading in a 14th-minute free-kick before recent Albion signing Gerard Escuriola levelled with a long-range effort in first-half stoppage time.
There was to be no point for new boss Kevin Harper on his debut in the Rovers dugout, however, as Henderson struck a winner with 14 minutes remaining at Cliftonhill.
Peterhead, who arrived at Hampden riding a run of six straight wins, fell foul of a brace from Ciaran Summers as 10-man Queen’s Park extended their unbeaten streak to a fourth game.
Summers scored in each half, first driving a free-kick into the bottom corner and then drifting a cross over Greg Fleming in the visiting goal. Dom McLaren was sent off at the death but the Spiders held on.
Paul Willis shared the goal-scoring duties with a trialist as Berwick snapped a six-game losing run by winning 4-2 at Elgin.
Willis tucked home following a fast break, with the trialist heading one in to give the Borderers a two-goal half-time lead. Jon-Paul McGovern halved the deficit but another trialist contribution boosted Berwick clear again, with Darryl McHardy smashing a late consolation down the middle for Elgin.
Elsewhere, Cowdenbeath denied Annan the chance to go four games unbeaten as Kris Renton and Josh Skelly made it 2-0 to the Blue Brazil at Galabank.
Dylan Cogill rammed home a second-half stoppage-time equaliser to earn Clyde their share of the points from a 1-1 draw with Stirling after Daniel Jardine had put the Binos on track for back-to-back wins.
