Ex-Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger in talks with AC Milan

Former Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is in talks with AC Milan.

France Football reports Wenger is in advanced talks with Milan with the Rossoneri eager to replace Gennaro Gattuso with the Gunners legend – a move orchestrated by new owners Paul and Gordon Singer.

Wenger will be given more control over transfers than Serie A coaches are typically afforded and will work closely with sporting director Leonardo over strengthening the squad.

Milan are already 10 points behind Serie A leaders Juventus 11 games into the new season.

Such a move would see Wenger reunited with Ivan Gazidis. Arsenal's current CEO is set to take up a new role with the Serie A giants in December.
