Real Madrid midfielder Luka Modric admits he'd have liked to have played with Zinedine Zidane.

The Croatian also talked about Cristiano Ronaldo and Kylian Mbappe in an interview which will be published in full on Tuesday.

"I would've liked to have been a teammate of Zidane," he said to France Football.

"Cristiano Ronaldo is a player who is very much above everyone else, and Mbappe will continue to progress.

"Football is a game that is played with the head."
