Real Madrid watching Sterling Man City contract talks

Real Madrid are watching Raheem Sterling's contract talks with Manchester City closely.

The Mirror says Sterling is on Real Madrid's radar for next summer as they watch developments closely on his contract negotiations with Manchester City.

Real Madrid are desperate to bolster their squad with Chelsea's Eden Hazard also on their hit list but they believe that Sterling has the potential to become a huge star.

Sterling, 23, came of age last season in City's march to the Premier League title and then went to the World Cup where he helped England reach the semi finals.

City are keen to extend Sterling's deal - he currently has 18 months left on his £180,000-a-week deal - but so far they are yet to reach an agreement.
