Stevenage boss Dino Maamria will assess Ben Nugent and Jimmy Ball before the home game against Grimsby.
Defender Nugent was replaced by Ronnie Henry at half-time during last week’s draw at Notts County, while midfielder Ball was forced off early in the second period.
Forward Kurtis Guthrie missed out last week due to a knock and will also be monitored.
Fellow strikers Danny Newton and Alex Revell both recovered from minor niggles to play the full 90 minutes last Saturday and are expected to resume up front.
Grimsby club captain John Welsh is hoping to recover in time from a back injury and will be assessed.
Defender Andrew Fox will miss out against his former club as he recovers from a muscle strain which forced him to miss last week’s home defeat to Oldham.
Midfielder Jordan Cook (muscle strain) is also unavailable, while Paul Dixon and Harry Cardwell both hope to return to full training next week.
Midfielder Elliott Whitehouse remains a long-term absentee after sustaining a serious knee injury in the summer shortly after joining the club from Lincoln.
