Yeovil claim long-awaited home victory against Stevenage

Yeovil Town won at home for the first time since February as they claimed a 2-0 victory over previously unbeaten Stevenage.
First-half goals from Alex Fisher and Sessi D’Almeida clinched the three points and there was no way back for Stevenage when they had Michael Timlin sent off for a second yellow card with three minutes left.
After Wes McDonald twice came close early on for Yeovil, the Glovers took the lead after 24 minutes through top scorer Fisher.
On-loan Middlesbrough midfielder Alex Pattison burst through the middle and squared the ball for Fisher to clinically sweep the ball home from 12 yards.
Just before half-time the home side doubled their lead, this time midfielder D’Almeida provided the finish.
Substitute Jordan Green sprinted clear on the right wing before cutting the ball back for D’Almeida to blast the ball past goalkeeper Paul Farman from just inside the box, three minutes before the break.
In the second half, the visitors improved but saw Timlin dismissed when his trip on Green resulted in a second booking.
