Bayern Munich president Uli Hoeness has declared James Rodriguez is staying for the new season.
James is in the middle of a two-season loan from Real Madrid - though has been linked with a return to his parent club this summer.
But Hoeness said, "Now is the time of hoaxes and these things happen.
"Nobody has contacted us, neither the club nor the player, we would never have accepted, he has a contract in force until next year, so there is no discussion."
Bayern can also sign James permanently for a fee of €42m as part of the deal.
