Iniesta and Torres ready to debut in Japan

Fernando Torres and Andres Iniesta have already begun their Asian adventures, and two of Spain's most important players of the last decade are getting ready to play their first match since arriving in Japan.

Despite only having a handful of training sessions under their respective belts, both are to be presented to the Japanese public on the pitch on Sunday and will be hoping to impress their new supporters.

The ex-Barcelona man is one of the main reasons why Spain have a star on their shirt now and he has managed to unleash madness in a country where excessive euphoria is not part of their culture.

"I hope I can play on Sunday, even if it is only for a few minutes although I will not be 100 percent," Iniesta said.

He is expected to feature for Vissel Kobe against Shonan Bellmare, which kicks off at 11.00 Spanish time.

Iniesta arrives at the club where Lukas Podolski was previously the star, and the German has already welcomed his new teammate to Japan.
