David Moyes non-committal over West Ham future after Manchester United draw

David Moyes admitted he is unsure of where his future lies after West Ham's 0-0 draw with Manchester United at London Stadium.

The West Ham boss is on a contract until the end of the season at the London Stadium after joining the club in November, keeping them up with two games to spare following Saturday's win at Leicester.

However, he distanced himself from the role on a permanent basis when speaking to Sky Sports after the game.

He said: "West ham are a big club, there's a lot of expectation, they want to improve every year. They don't want to be a club flirting with relegation, and that's understandable.

"We'll have a chat next week and we'll see [whether I stay]. It's a big achievement for us. It's been a tough job but a really good job, I've really enjoyed it and the players have worked hard when we came in, we had to get them in order a little bit and get them playing a bit better, and I think we've done that."

Moyes' side were good value for a point despite United's dominance in chances, with Adrian never forced into a top-class save at the London Stadium.

The Scot was pleased his players bucked a trend of other teams guaranteed survival switching off in recent weeks, remaining committed to the cause and battling for a point against United.

"Getting a point against Manchester United any time is a good result," he said. "But the attitude of the players, considering we were safe at the weekend, was great.

"I'd have been quite happy to take the point, winning would've been good but a point was always good for us.

"The players went about it really well. Their attitude and commitment was very good. They wanted to win tonight. We want to move up the league, it didn't do that tonight but we're a point closer."
