Morata has struggled in his first season at Chelsea
The Italian club are set to offer £15m to take the striker for up to two seasons, with a view to eventually making the deal permanent for an extra £40m.
Morata enjoyed a successful two-year spell at the club between 2014-2016, bagging 27 goals in 93 games before Real Madrid triggered their buy-back clause.
Juve are set to revamp their squad with manager Massimiliano Allegri hot favourite to replace Arsene Wenger at Arsenal.
They are prepared to sell Croatia striker Mario Mandzukic to make way for Morata.
Juve cannot afford the £60m that Chelsea want to cover the amount they spent on Morata last summer from Real, but want a deal that will enable them to bring in the cash from other sales.
Morata has had a tough time at Chelsea despite a good start, which saw the Spaniard score eight goals in his first nine games.
But the goals dried up as he lost his place to new signing Olivier Giroud, and he has netted only one league goal in 2018.
Morata had success during his time in Turin
Meanwhile, the FA have charged Chelsea over the conduct of their players at half-time against Huddersfield.
Chelsea complained at referee Lee Mason blowing for half-time just as they were about to take corner.
