AFC Fylde sealed a Vanarama National League play-off place following a goalless draw at 10-man Wrexham.
Fylde went into the final game of the season in sixth place but dropped to seventh courtesy of a win for Boreham Wood, whom they will now meet for a place in the semi-final on Thursday.
Scott Quigley hit a post early on for Wrexham, who were grateful to Shaun Pearson for heading a Jonathan Smith lob off the line.
Wrexham then struck the post for a second time, Paul Rutherford on this occasion, four minutes into the second half.
The home side finished the game with 10 men when Luke Burke was dismissed for a second yellow card as they ended the campaign in 10th place and winless in seven.
