Former Arsenal vice-chairman David Dein said he started to field calls about Wenger's availability straight after Friday's confirmation he will quit Arsenal at the end of the season.
Starsport revealed on March 5 how Everton were ready to offer Wenger the manager's job if he parted company from the Gunners.
And it is understood the Goodison outfit have already been in touch with a proposal which would see Wenger work with his former fullback Oleg Luzhny, who is currently assistant at Dynamo Kiev.
Arsene Wenger won't be out of work for long, says David Dein
Dein said: "Arsene will have no shortage of offers. I personally had calls from various people on Saturday, saying, can I speak to him?
"The question is will he want to do it any more. It's getting more and more difficult. It's a bit of a pressure cooker."
But Dein told Sky Sports Wenger had kept himself in superb condition. "He's going to be 69 in October, but he keeps himself extraordinarily fit," he added.
"He is the same weight as when I met him, 75 kilos. He keeps himself fit.
"He's got a very active mind, such a knowledge of the game. Over the last few years, he has been approached by some of the biggest clubs in the world, Real Madrid, Paris St-Germain, the national team wanted him at one stage."
