Wigan the visitors for John Sheridan’s penultimate home match as Fleetwood boss

John Sheridan takes charge of his penultimate home match as Fleetwood manager as Sky Bet League One leaders Wigan visit Highbury.
Sheridan, who has lifted the club to mid-table security since succeeding Uwe Rosler on a short-term deal in February, will be replaced by Joey Barton this summer.
Sheridan may seek to freshen the team after last week’s derby loss at Blackpool, which was only his second defeat.
Defender Cian Bolger should be available again after missing the Blackpool game due to a concussion suffered in training.
Latics could secure promotion this weekend if results go in their favour.
Boss Paul Cook will again check on the fitness of Nick Powell ahead of the trip.
The midfielder missed Tuesday’s win over Oxford with a thigh problem.
Striker Devante Cole, who joined Wigan from Fleetwood in January, will hope to be involved after an impressive late cameo in midweek.
