How many points do Man City need?

Six points, or two wins.

When can Man City guarantee being champions?

City's shock home defeat to Manchester United, which came via a second-half capitulation, means they now will have to wait until they play at home to Swansea on April 22 to be crowned champions by virtue of picking up the six points they need.

But when is the earliest Man City can be champions?

City can actually be champions on Sunday, April 15 should they win at Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United lose at home to West Brom.

Anything else?

United actually play twice in between City's next two games, so even if United beat West Brom the title could still go to City on Wednesday, April 18 if the Red Devils lose at Bournemouth that night. They would also be champions on April 18 if United draw both of their next two matches.

If City do not win at Tottenham next Saturday, then their title celebrations might be put on hold even longer until they play away to West Ham United on April 29.

Can anyone else still win the title?

No. Liverpool, Tottenham, Chelsea and Arsenal are all mathematically out of the title race. It's down to Manchesters City and United.
