Oldham Athletic vs Walsall - Gerrard and Bryan sidelined as Oldham host relegation Walsall
Posted Tuesday, April 10, 2018 by PA
Oldham will be without Anthony Gerrard and Kean Bryan for Walsall’s visit to Boundary Park.
Gerrard remains sidelined with a calf strain, while Bryan came off against Oxford at the weekend due to a hamstring problem.
It means Latics boss Richie Wellens could select an inexperienced centre-back pairing of George Edmundson and Tom Haymer.
Cameron Dummigan (groin) and Ryan McLaughlin are still missing.
Walsall boss Dean Keates has no fresh injury issues and must decide whether to stick with a winning team.
The Saddlers ended a run of four-successive defeats with a 1-0 victory over Bury on Saturday to enhance their survival prospects.
Justin Shaibu replaced Julien Ngoy in the only change to Keates’ starting line-up, though the latter was brought on for the former early in the second half.
Krystian Bielik remains sidelined because of a hamstring problem.
