Jamie Sterry could be back for Crewe’s clash with Coventry

Crewe boss David Artell hopes to have full-back Jamie Sterry at his disposal for Coventry’s Sky Bet League Two visit to the Alexandra Stadium.
Newcastle loanee Sterry missed last Saturday’s 2-2 draw at Stevenage with a thigh problem suffered in training, but could return to contention.
Striker Chris Dagnall made his first appearance since January at the Lamex Stadium when he came on as a substitute after recovering from a knee injury, and although he was withdrawn as a precaution during a midweek run-out for the Under-23s, will be looking for further involvement.
Midfielder James Jones played an hour of that game, his first competitive football of the season following pelvic and knee problems, and is close to a senior return, but Ryan Wintle and Chris Porter are still out.
Coventry striker Marc McNulty expects to be available after playing down fears he could have picked up a hamstring injury.
Manager Mark Robins revealed the forward, who had earlier scored his side’s second goal in Tuesday night’s 2-2 draw with Luton, had been struggling towards the end of the game, but McNulty later put the discomfort down to cramp.
Veteran midfielder Carl Baker is yet to make a second debut for the club after rejoining on a short-term deal, while defender Jordan Willis has had to remain patient since returning from suspension.
Tom Davies (fractured collarbone), Jodi Jones and Tony Andreu (both knee ligaments) remain on the sidelines.
