Swindon boss David Flitcroft is waiting to find out if he will be without striker Kellan Gordon through suspension for Saturday’s League Two clash with Mansfield.
Gordon was sent off after tangling with Accrington skipper Sean McConville following his introduction as a substitute during Tuesday night’s 2-1 defeat at the Wham Stadium, although the club has launched an appeal with the player facing a three-match ban if it is unsuccessful.
Defender Matt Preston is available once again after sitting out the midweek fixture as a result of his red card against Lincoln, although loanee Rollin Menayese was handed a debut in his absence and will hope to keep his place.
Striker Keshi Anderson is expected to return after missing the Accrington game through fatigue, while Amine Linganzi is working his way back from a thigh injury.
Mansfield are boosted by the return to fitness of Jacob Mellis.
The midfielder has missed three games with a hamstring tear but he resumed training on Thursday and could travel with the rest of the squad.
Striker Lee Angol is also fit again after a slight strain saw him miss the home win against Barnet.
Captain Zander Diamond might also be back in the group after taking time off for the birth of his daughter but fellow defender Hayden White will complete his three-match ban.
