Neymar, Hazard and Lewandowski: Real Madrid look for a new attacking trio

It appears that the days of Real Madrid's BBC front three are numbered, with Florentino Perez seemingly believing that the time has come to revolutionise the capital city club's attack.

In the short term there may still be some time for Gareth Bale, Karim Benzema and Cristiano Ronaldo to shine together, but a big summer transfer window is expected at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu, where the attacking trident of the future could be put together piece by piece.

Already Real Madrid have collected several Galactico players at once, having brought Luis Figo, Zinedine Zidane, Ronaldo and David Beckham together, before Kaka, Cristiano Ronaldo and Benzema all arrived at the same time, with Bale eventually taking the Brazilian's place.

Now it's time for a third chapter for Perez and Neymar is the player who tops the list and who would be the new Cristiano Ronaldo.

He is a marketable megastar, although it will be difficult to sign him.

While he's no longer a Barcelona player, to prize him away from Paris Saint-Germain one year after his expensive arrival will not be easy.

Another name on the table is that of Eden Hazard, a player Zidane likes, who has what it takes to be a Galactico and who is one of the more attainable players on the market.

He hasn't renewed his Chelsea vows and his contract in London expires in 2020.

As for the No.9, or the new Benzema, Robert Lewandowski is another name to consider, a centre-forward who Perez has long admired and who the Real Madrid president has tried to bring to Spain before.

The Pole turns 30 in August and might want to finish his career with one last hurrah at Real Madrid, although it would depend on whether or not Bayern Munich would want to negotiate and on whether or not they'd cite a reasonable transfer fee.

Besides Lewandowski, Harry Kane and Mauro Icardi are two other names to have been linked with the club, although they should be a little higher than Lewandowski on the transfer fees scale.
