Wilfried Zaha backed for future Liverpool move by ex-Palace boss Frank de Boer

Former-Crystal Palace manager Frank De Boer thinks Liverpool would be an ideal destination for Wilfried Zaha if he chooses to leave Selhurst Park.
The Dutchman was sacked by Palace after losing his first four Premier League games without the team scoring a single goal.
Zaha picked up an injury in De Boer's first match in charge – a 3-0 home defeat to Huddersfield Town – and the 47-year-old thinks that had a significant effect on his nightmare spell at the club.
"I was really a little bit unfortunate that he was injured in the first game," De Boer told Omnisport, according to FourFourTwo.
"I missed him in the coming six games. He has a major impact for Crystal Palace because he can make something out of nothing.
"He can play for a much bigger club than Crystal Palace, that's for sure, I'm 100 per cent convinced.
"Liverpool would be a great club for him," De Boer added, "but I'm going to see what he does in the future, I'm very interested in him because I think he has a great potential."
Arguably, Liverpool don't need Zaha; they already possess one of the most clinical attacking trios in the world in the form of Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mané and Roberto Firmino. That said, Zaha would undeniably add depth to the Reds' attack.
Zaha has been successful with 60% of his take-ons in the Premier League this season, producing 4.27 per game – that's more than Salah (2.96), Mane (2.67) and Firmino (1.75). He could be rotated with any of those three players, or he could even be used in an ambitious attacking four.
There are no suggestions Liverpool are interested in Zaha, but it would certainly be an exciting prospect.
