The Blues were held to a 0-0 draw by the Foxes today at Stamford Bridge.
And Chelsea were lucky not to lose to Claude Puel’s side, who dominated the first half as Jamie Vardy ran the hosts ragged.
A red card to Ben Chilwell saw Leicester sit back after the break but Chelsea failed to break the visitors down.
The Blues played Arsenal on Wednesday in the Carabao Cup semi-final first leg - a goalless draw too - as Conte named a similar team this afternoon.
Reflecting on the game, Conte said: “I think we played with a lot of top players against Arsenal, and then again today against a very good team.
Chelsea boss Antonio Conte saw his side struggle against Leicester at Stamford Bridge
"I think a lot of our players were tired.
"In the first half Leicester ran more than us, they played better than us.
"But we knew we were playing against a good opponent, maybe the worst opponent we could have played in this moment.
"We suffered a lot in the first half."
Chelsea stay third, having missed the chance to leapfrog Manchester United in the table.
Their busy schedule continues on Wednesday as the Blues host Championship outfit Norwich in an FA Cup third round replay (7.45pm).
