Chelsea boss Conte ended a number of loan moves early last season with the likes of Nathan Ake, Kenedy and Charly Musonda returning to Stamford Bridge in January.
The Blues once again have several players out with other clubs and Loftus-Cheek is impressing at Crystal Palace.
The 21-year-old midfielder has featured 17 times for the Eagles and has performed well.
With the January transfer window now open, Conte was questioned on whether he would like to bring the England ace back to west London.
He said: "I don't think this could be realistic because the players we send on loan are playing.
"I don't see a possibility to come back for some players on loan.
"I remember last January Ake, Kenedy and Musonda came back in January to improve our squad.
"But in this transfer (window), I don't know."
Loftus-Cheek missed Palace's goalless draw against Manchester City on New Years Eve after picking up a knock against Arsenal.
He has been rested for their tie at Southampton this evening but should return for their FA Cup third round clash at Brighton next Monday.
