Goals from Kevin Dawson and Carl Winchester gave Cheltenham a deserved 2-0 win against Barnet.
Dawson broke the deadlock in the 32nd minute with a finish from close range after latching onto the end of Mohamed Eisa's pass across the face of goal.
The Robins doubled their in the 38th minute when Winchester weaved through the defence to score a solo goal.
The visitors nearly took an early lead but Andre Blackman headed clear off the line before Eisa fired the rebound over the crossbar.
Jamie Stephens, who looked shaky all afternoon, conceded an indirect free-kick in his own area when his attempt to clear a backpass flew up in the air and he picked up the ball.
The Bees had a chance to get back into the game when they had a two-on-one opportunity but Shaquile Coulthirst opted to have a shot, which was blocked by Jamie Grimes, instead of playing John Akinde through on goal.
It could have been worse for the home side but Will Boyle headed off target before Eisa curled a shot just wide of the goal.
