Mansfield frustrated by struggling Yeovil

Mansfield's hopes of getting back into the Sky Bet League Two play-off places were frustrated by a gutsy display from struggling visitors Yeovil as they were held to a goalless draw.
It was only the Glovers' second point in six league games and the visitors had the better chances in a largely dull first half.
After weathering early pressure Yeovil almost went ahead in the 16th minute when Sam Surridge headed an Otis Khan cross against the bar.
A minute later Conrad Logan was down well to parry Matt Worthington's low shot and just before the half hour mark Surridge saw his lob end up on the roof of the net after bustling his way past Krystian Pearce.
The Stags offered little threat, Alex MacDonald sending their only on-target shot straight at the keeper and Lee Angol having an effort deflect into the side-netting.
Mansfield dominated possession after the break and keeper Artur Krysiak made a fine reaction save to keep out CJ Hamilton's 70th minute volley from MacDonald's cross - the best of very few real chances in a forgettable game.
