Manchester United star Paul Pogba will miss the Manchester derby
The Manchester United midfielder will miss Sunday's derby with City after being sent off for a stamp on Arsenal defender Hector Bellerin.
United decided not to appeal but he will play in the Champions League before starting his three-match domestic ban.
Boss Jose Mourinho said: "He's happy to play against CSKA. It's the next match, the match that matters.
"Of course he's a bit tired because it was a huge match last weekend and just two days to recover for CSKA.
"But he's very happy to play and try to keep his momentum. Since he was back from injury he's been phenomenal."
United need just a point to finish top of Group A and equal a club record of 40 home matches without defeat.
United then face bitter rivals Manchester City on Sunday in the Premier League.
Pep Guardiola's unbeaten men lead United by eight points at the top of the table following 14 straight wins.
Nemanja Matic is also facing a race to be fit for the visit of City as he struggles to overcome a muscular injury.
"Matic is injured and when I say he is injured, he is injured," said Mourinho.
"I am not going to make him play against CSKA. A couple of others guys are playing every match and they also need a rest."
