Marlon Jackson has been ruled out of Newport's FA Cup home tie with Cambridge on Sunday and faces another lengthy spell on the sidelines.

The striker, who has started only one game all season, faces another two months out after pulling his hamstring again.

Midfielder Robbie Willmott is back in contention after suffering a recent concussion and defender Mark O'Brien (foot) could also return.

But defender Scot Bennett is out after failing to recover from a hip injury suffered in last weekend's league win at Swindon.

Cambridge midfielder Gary Deegan is out with a fractured foot.

Deegan played in three games with the injury, before missing the win over Stevenage.

Midfielder Liam O'Neil could return for Cambridge following concussion sustained against Cheltenham.

Ade Azeez is nearing a first-team return after three months out with a knee injury. The midfielder played in a reserve fixture on Wednesday afternoon.
