Magpies sweating on Jon Stead and Shola Ameobi

Strikers Jon Stead and Shola Ameobi are injury doubts for Notts County ahead of their FA Cup second-round tie against Oxford City.
Stead limped off at Yeovil with a leg injury and missed the home win over Colchester while Ameobi has only recently returned from a groin problem, but he did play the full match last weekend.
Magpies manager Kevin Nolan could make a few changes with the likes of Dan Jones, Nicky Hunt, Curtis Thompson, Rob Milsom, Alan Smith and Jonathan Forte all available to come into the team.
Callum Saunders has been struggling with a bout of flu this week while Michael O'Connor and Adam Collin remain long-term absentees.
Oxford City captain Lee Henderson is a major doubt.
The defender is carrying a calf problem and is not expected to be fit to play at Meadow Lane.
City boss Mark Jones will be able to field on-loan Portsmouth right-back Christian Oxlade-Chamberlain, younger brother of Liverpool midfielder Alex, while Zac McEachran, who was at Chelsea Academy along with brother Josh, should also feature.
Striker Matt Paterson is likely to lead the attack again, after his goal helped secure the Vanarama National League South side a 1-0 win at Colchester in the FA Cup first-round tie.
