The Belgium international was sent out on loan to the Bundesliga outfit in the summer with Klopp unable to promise the striker what he wanted at Anfield this season.
Roberto Firmino is the preferred option to lead the line while Daniel Sturridge’s return to fitness puts him ahead of Origi in the pecking order.
He is still highly regarded by the German coach and is expected to return to Merseyside at the end of his loan spell.
Although, the 22-year-old did recently hint that he may consider making his move to Wolfsburg permanent.
And his latest comments about Klopp could suggest his time at Liverpool may be coming to an end.
Origi has revealed the Reds boss is yet to contact him since he left Anfield.
"I spoke to Jürgen Klopp for the last time shortly before my move to Wolfsburg, but I'm in close contact with the club,” Origi told the Bundesliga website.

Divock Origi has been pleasantly surprised by the Bundesliga
Origi has scored four goals in 11 Bundesliga appearances so far and he went on to explain why his experience in the German league has been a pleasant surprise.
"Let's put it this way: I like the soul of the league," he said.
"Football is a way of life here, there are fantastic fans and great stadiums.
"The atmosphere is unique. The league is very well organised. That impressed me a lot.”
