After the previous employee retired, Manchester United are looking for a 'Player Care Property Technician' to look after players' day-to-day maintenance issues as well as attend emergency breakdowns and assist with house moves.

The advert reads: "Reporting to the Property Liaison Manager, our Property Technician will assist the Player Care team in ensuring the professional provision of services with the general building management of players' and senior management properties.
"Dealing with day-to-day maintenance issues, attending emergency breakdowns of equipment and assisting with house moves, other responsibilities will include:
· Maintaining good working relations with players, families, agents and staff
· Responding to emergencies and calls for assistance
· Maintaining accurate records of visits, and costs, in line with the service level agreement
· Keeping secure keys codes and personal information
· Identifying needs of players and families and responding accordingly
· Covering elements of Property Liaison Management responsibilities, as and when required
From fixing Ashley Young's diving board to changing the fuse in Marouane Fellaini's hairdryer, this job would certainly be a handful.
The advert goes onto state that: "Successful applicants must have previous relevant experience in varied building maintenance with recognised building trades qualifications, for example; joiner, electrician, heating engineer, together with a solid understanding of all domestic essential services, including security systems.
"Applicants must be computer literate with familiarity of Microsoft office or similar packages and can communicate concisely and effectively with various departments and levels of the organisation.
"With the ability to adapt quickly to changing circumstances, a flexible attitude and approach is essential.
"Applicants must also have knowledge of the local area with the appropriate facilities and services and be prepared to spend a large proportion of their day travelling between sites/properties. A full driving licence is required."
"The successful candidates will demonstrate professionalism, confidence and the highest levels of discretion always. Knowledge of foreign languages will be an advantage.
"Due to this post being in regulated activity, the potential employee will be required to undertake a Disclosure and Barring Service check at the appropriate level."
