EVERTON midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin put his club woes aside by pulling off the fancy dress to celebrate his 28th birthday.

The former Manchester United man currently has a week off having failed to earn a call-up to the France national team.

And it gave him the ideal opportunity to find time and celebrate his birthday bash with wife Camille and friends.

Schneiderlin, dressed as character Jon Snow, took to Instagram to show off his costume alongside his other half who went as Daenerys Targaryen.

Alongside the two pictures he wrote the caption: "Had fun celebrating my 28's with family and friends.

"Thanks everyone for your birthday wishes #myqueen @camille_schneiderlin #jonsnow #gameofthrone #addict."

But whilst he was all smiles at his party, Everton's form on the pitch has not been a laughing matter.

The Toffees find themselves manager-less and needed an extra time penalty from Leighton Baines to lift them out of the bottom three before the international break.

And their search for a new boss has hit a brick wall after Watford rebuffed any approach for manager Marco Silva.

The Portuguese gaffer remains favourite to take over at Goodison Park but caretaker boss David Unsworth is also in the running.
