Arbroath moved into the Ladbrokes League One play-off places with a 2-0 win over Queen's Park on Saturday.
Gavin Swankie and Colin Hamilton scored the goals as Arbroath moved fourth ahead of East Fife, who lost 2-0 to Forfar.
That result, which came courtesy of goals from Edward Malone and Michael Travis, also left Queen's Park four points adrift at the foot of the table.
With leading pair Ayr and Raith Rovers not playing until Tuesday, Alloa won 2-0 at Albion Rovers to stay third ahead of Arbroath. Iain Flannigan opened the scoring early on and Kris Renton added a second in stoppage time.
Ryan Conroy's double earned a 2-0 win for Airdrieonians at home to Stranraer.
