Eden Hazard has been linked with a move to Real Madrid in the past
Hazard has long been linked with Madrid after his eye-catching displays for the Blues in the Premier League.
The attacking ace is said to be in contract talks with Chelsea over a new deal.
And Belgian journalist Kristof Terreur thinks it could be a straight choice between extending his stay at Stamford Bridge or moving to Spain or Hazard.
"For him, this summer (2018) will be a now-or-never as he becomes 27,” he told the Transfer Window Podcast.
"If they come for him it’s choosing between Chelsea and Real for the rest of his career.
"We’ll see what happens if he signs that contract in the coming weeks or months.”
Hazard has been at Chelsea since 2012 when they spent £32m to sign him from French club Lille.
The Belgian star has won the Premier League twice and the 2013 Europa League with the Blues.
Terreur says Hazard is happy in England despite the prospect of improving his medal haul with the Spanish giants.
"He’s very happy in London, in Cobham. He doesn’t like the limelight,” he added.
"His kids speak better English than him so that’s important to him, to his family life.
"That will play an important role too if he ever moves to Real Madrid.”
