Marcus Rashford has been tipped for the very top by team-mate Juan Mata
Rashford has made an impressive start to the season with England and Manchester United.
The teenage sensation has plundered six goals for club and country to continue his rapid rise to superstardom.
Rashford has refused to let the arrival of Romelu Lukaku in a £90m deal shunt him into the shadows at Old Trafford.
The 19-year-old has a huge season ahead of him as United look to land the title and England travel to Russia for the 2018 World Cup.
The pressure on Rashford to deliver will be immense - but Mata is convinced his team-mate can handle whatever is thrown at him.
Rashford set-up Mata's opening goal in United's 4-0 thumping of Crystal Palace at Old Trafford and the World Cup winner said:
"I think he has been brilliant this season.
"I think he is a special kid. I think he has a lot of talents and he has got a good mentality, which is important in that age.
"He is performing very well, week in and week out.
"Even coming from the bench he is helping a lot. I really believe he is going to be a big player for club and country."
Mata has seen a lot of young talents come through the ranks in Spain and England that don't go on to fulfil their potential, but believes Rashford will because he is 'special'.
He added: "It's down to everything he does on the pitch.
"The qualities he has, the important player he is in some difficult games where he just takes the ball and scores two great goals, like last time in the League Cup.
"I see so many players at that age like this, and then they don't keep consistency.
"But I believe Marcus can because it's down to his mentality - and he has the right mentality for that."
