Diego Costa has stepped up his attempts to leave Chelsea

Costa has been missing from the West London outfit since the end of last season after Blues boss Antonio Conte told him he had no future at the club via text.

The absent striker is determined to push through a move to former side Atletico Madrid and has already moved his family out of his base in Oxshott, Surrey, according to The Sun.

The publication also say Costa is selling his Mercedes and his BMW, as he wants a left-hand drive upon his return to Spain.

Costa's club car has already been moved from its parking spot at Chelsea's Cobham HQ to make room for other squad members.

The Range Rover he left in the first team car park at the start of the summer has now been moved to a youth team bay.

The 28-year-old was included in Chelsea's 25-man Premier League squad by Conte but is still AWOL, refusing to return to last season's champions.

He was expected to report back after his summer holidays in Brazil but after failing to do so, he is now wracking up large fines as he is in breach of his contract.

Atletico's transfer ban will be lifted in January, meaning he may finally get his desired move back to Los Colchoneros.
