Chelsea boss Conte wants deal completed for Tottenham full-back Rose

Chelsea boss Antonio Conte has told the club he wants them pursue Tottenham full-back Danny Rose.

The Italian has failed to recruit any reinforcements at the full-back position this summer.

Marcos Alonso and Victor Moses played the two positions last summer, but there has been no competition brought in to push them.

The Blues have been priced out of a move for Juventus' Alex Sandro, and now the Sun claims that they have turned their attention towards the England international.

Spurs are adamant they will not lose anymore players this summer after selling Kyle Walker to Manchester City for £50m.

However, Chelsea are to set to tempt Spurs chief Daniel Levy by offering £40m for Rose.

Manchester United have also shown an interest in the 27-year old.
