Alaves rule out return for Marcos Llorente

Sergio Fernandez, sporting director at Alaves, has denied speculation linking Marcos Llorente with a return to the Basque club, having spent last season on loan from Real Madrid.
While the Real midfielder will not be returning to Estadio Mendizorrotza, Fernandez admitted they would be looking to add to their squad and hoped to confirm a number of signing in the coming days.
"[Llorente] belongs to Real Madrid," Fernandez said at Mubarak Wakaso's unveiling.
"We are trying to bring in as many players as possible to give the squad competition."
"In some cases we will own the player but others will have to arrive on loan."
Alaves achieved a top half finish in LaLiga last term in a historic campaign that saw them reach the final of the Copa del Rey.
