Andreas Christensen would love to go back to Borussia Monchengladbach
The Danish defender has returned to Chelsea following a very successful two-year spell at the Bundesliga side.
Monchengladbach have admitted they are interested in keeping Christensen long term and they resisted attempts by the Blues to cut short his loan last summer.
Chelsea boss Antonio Conte is working to bring in another centre back and the 21-year-old could struggle for game time next term.
But he's made it perfectly clear he would like to head back to Borussia sooner or later.
On his Instagram account, he wrote: "The break is now almost over, and my time with @borussia has officially come to an end (for now anyway).
"I wanna thank every one at the club for making my time there unforgettable.
"Thank you to the fans for supporting the team trough thick and thin and a special thank you to my teammates for pushing me everyday.
"Its been an honour playing with you hope to play with you again sometime, hopefully on the same side."
Christensen has made just one appearance for Chelsea during his four years at Stamford Bridge.
He racked up 61 Bundesliga appearances over the last two years while at Monchengladbach, scoring five goals in the process.
