Kylian Mbappe has been heavily linked with a move to Real Madrid this summer
CHELSEA midfielder N'Golo Kante is expecting a bright future for Monaco striker Kylian Mbappe.
Kylian Mbappe has emerged as one of the hottest prospects in Europe going into the summer transfer window after a stunning breakthrough campaign at Monaco.
The 18-year-old striker hit 26 goals last season to help Monaco to their first Ligue 1 title in 17 years and also reach the Champions League semi finals.
Real Madrid are reportedly keen to sign Mbappe, with reports linking the Spanish champions with a world-record move for the teenager.
Mbappe impressed for France in a 3-2 friendly win against England last night and French team-mate Kante has high hopes for the young striker.
"I don't know what is going to happen with him but he played a fine game against England and he is a very good player," Kante said when asked about Mbappe's future.
"I have had the opportunity to train with him and he is a great talent.
"He has done very well at Monaco and now he is doing the same with the national team in France. I hope he is going to have a good future."
Mbappe last night revealed how Real Madrid have been trying to sign him for the last four years.
When quizzed about Real's interest, Mbappe said: "They have been trying to sign me since I was 14."
And Mbappe fuelled speculation of a move to the Bernabeu at the end of last month after revealing his admiration for Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane.
"The player made me dream, and still does when I see certain videos," said Mbappe when asked about his French compatriot.
