In London, You’ll Want to Live Near These Premier League Stadiums

While they may not have won the U.K.’s Premier League, London soccer clubs dominated the rankings in terms of house price growth.
Of the 20 soccer clubs in the Premier League analyzed by global real estate consultancy Knight Frank, Tottenham Hotspur, who missed out narrowly on the title earlier this month, claimed the house price growth crown.
Average house prices in the area surrounding the White Hart Lane soccer stadium in Tottenham in north London jumped 18.4% last year. Prices could rise further if the area’s transport links are improved by a proposed rail link that would connect north and south London comes to fruition.
West Ham United, who will see their stadium redeveloped into a residential scheme as they move into the Olympic Stadium, saw the second highest price growth with a 13.2% increase.
