Arsene Wenger has signed a new deal at Arsenal extending his stay for two more years
The Frenchman’s targets include Monaco striker Kylian Mbappe, 18, and Lyon forward Alexandre Lacazette, 26.
Also on Arsenal’s list is Southampton’s Dutch central defender Virgil van Dijk, 25, Everton midfielder Ross Barkley and Sunderland keeper Jordan Pickford, both 23, are also potential targets.
The Emirates boss has the transfer warchest after signing a new two-year contract to end doubts about his future.
And it is believed that figure could even BE INCREASED if necessary to clinch the signings Wenger wants.
The Arsenal manager has also confirmed that he is interested in taking Leicester City’s transferseeking winger Riyad Mahrez, 26 – as first revealed at Starsport.
But there is fierce competition for all those players.
Mbappe, for instance, is valued at a world record £135m – and Monaco still do not want to sell even at that price.
Wenger, though, is expected to deliver on the transfer front – and then on the pitch in the Premier League next season.
