Real Madrid's James Rodriguez can play anywhere - Carlos Valderrama

Colombia legend Carlos Valderrama said that only Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane is to blame for James Rodriguez's lack of playing time with the Spanish giants.
The Colombia star has found himself back on the bench for the big games, including both legs of the Champions League quarterfinal with Bayern Munich and the both semifinal matches against Atletico Madrid.
According to ESPN FC sources, Manchester United have been offered the chance to sign Rodriguez this summer as he is set to leave the Bernabeu.
"James can play with any team in the world," Valderrama said on Thursday. "He has the talent to play anywhere. Every time he gets a chance he plays well. The rest is a problem with the coach because James plays well every time he is given a chance.
"But it is the coach who makes the decision. But James is always ready to play. At the end of the day it is the coach who decides who plays and who doesn't.
Rodriguez has been limited to bit part in the Spanish capital this season as both Isco and Marco Asensio have pushed him down the pecking order.
He was a one-time target for Chelsea to replace Oscar. Rodriguez's agent, Jorge Mendes, also represents Jose Mourinho.
