Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has yet to decide on his future
The Frenchman has given no clues about whether he will be staying or going at the end of this season when his contract runs out.
A new manager would be certain to bring in his own people meaning many of the current staff at the Gunners would find themselves without a job next season.
It has led to increasing uncertainty in the backroom staff, who genuinely do not know what the 67-year-old is going to do.
Wenger has played a bizarre teasing game when it comes to his future.
Over seven weeks ago he claimed he had made a decision and that he would reveal it “very soon”.
But since then he has remained tight-lipped, although it does seem certain Paris St-Germain are ready to employ him if he does decide to quit The Emirates.
Time is running out for an announcement with Arsenal down to play their last game of the season in the FA Cup Final against Chelsea a fortnight on Saturday.
The Gunners know their chances remain slim of keeping up Wenger’s 100 per cent record and making it into the Champions League for the 21st season in a row.
Wenger and his men now face their final quartet of Premier League games in the space of 11 days, starting at Southampton tomorrow, and are likely to need to win all of them to finish in the top four.
