It has been a long 18 days for Marc Bartra since he suffered serious arm injuries as a result of the explosive attack on the Dortmund team bus and the Spaniard is happy to return to action.
Against the backdrop of a Champions League tie with Monaco it was an incident that stunned the world of football with a team actually targeted for one of the first times in Europe.
After his summer move from Barcelona, the 26-year-old has quickly established himself in the Bundesliga and he will be welcomed back into Thomas Tuchel's team.
With his return to competitive action drawing ever closer the defender took to his social media pages to post a video of him training with the ball for the first time in which he made clear he was excited about his return with a caption.
"How I missed you," he commented.
He wore a protective cast on his right hand in the video and Dortmund hope that he may be ready to return for the Bundesliga clash with Hoffenheim on May 6.
