Nearly a week after the explosions that injured Marc Bartra and delayed a Champions League game by 24 hours police are still investigating who was at fault with a Far Right group now claiming it was them.
Confusion reigned on last Tuesday night when it was initially reported that the explosions, that caused Dortmund's game with Monaco to be delayed for nearly a day, were some sort of fireworks.
However those reports were soon replaced with news that it was nail bombs that hit the Dortmund coach and caused defender Marc Bartra to have surgery on his wrist, lucky in many ways he was the only injured player.
Letters that were found in the city claimed that the explosions were the work of the terrorist group Islamic State, with one Iraqi man arrested.
However according to reports in Germany, prosecutors are now investigating a claim from the Far Right taking responsibility for the incident.
A anonymous email sent to Tagesspiegel newspaper claimed responsibility and threatened of another attack next weekend in Cologne at a demonstration at the Far-Right Alternative for Germany (AfD) party conference.
Prosecutors have told reporters in the country that there is "significant doubts" over the claims of the letter found at the attack that had Isil taking responsibility.
There have also been claims that the Far Left have also taken responsibility for the attack on the team bus and police have admitted to not knowing who took out the attack.
Islamic extremists not working with Isil, football hooligans and organised crime are also being investigated.
