Antonio Conte has attempted to sidestep questions about Oscar's reportedly imminent move to the Chinese Super League, by saying that when the time is right the club will make an announcement.
Oscar has confirmed that a deal to take him to Shanghai SIPG is all but competed, with the move expected to go through in the January transfer window.
The Brazilian has struggled for game-time this season, with the 25-year-old not starting a league match since the loss to Liverpool in September.
Although the player himself has spoken about his big-money move to Asia, manager Conte has refused to divulge any information about the impending transfer.
Instead the Italian preferred to indicate that when the time comes Chelsea will make an announcement, although did hint that he had been involved in the decision to sell the Blues' No.8.
When asked about Oscar's move, Conte told a press conference: "In the right moment you'll know the situation. Now we have to wait.
"I always talk with the club, with the board. I explain my thoughts about every situation, then you try to make the best decision."
Conte was also asked about the threat of Chinese money to the Premier League, to which he responded: "It's a danger for all teams in the world, not just Chelsea. But we must concentrate on our work."
