Dunfermline vs Hibernian FC - Neil Lennon: Going top has given Hibernian a huge lift

Hibernian head coach Neil Lennon feels his side will be hard to stop if they can build on their return to the top of the Ladbrokes Championship.

Hibs have not won in four league games but they went top last weekend following a goalless draw with Raith Rovers, after Queen of the South were knocked off the summit following a 5-0 home defeat by Betfred Cup semi-finalists Morton.

Ahead of facing Dunfermline for the second time this season, Lennon told Hibs TV: "We have had a good look at every other team. We're sitting top of the league, we know we can do better, because results haven't been great over the last three or four weeks, but there have been mitigating circumstances for that.

"And if we can find the form we showed at the start of the season then it's going to take a good team to stay with us.

"Psychologically, going top of the league gave everyone here a huge lift again."

Hibs have Marvin Bartley available after the midfielder won his second appeal against a red card in the space of a month but Dylan McGeouch (hamstring) is a major doubt again.

Dundee United host Dumbarton looking to avenge an away defeat against the part-timers.

Manager Ray McKinnon said: "The result down there was our own doing. It was very difficult circumstances, the wind, the long grass and men behind the ball and ultimately we gave away a penalty to lose the game.

"We have learned from that. It's not a revenge mission, it's about us going out there and making sure we perform."

Queens travel to face an in-form Ayr side while Falkirk host Raith Rovers.
