Welcome to 7M Weekly!

After the international break, the European leagues and Champions League finally come back to our schedule. Lionel Messi's hat-trick helped Barcelona thrash Manchester City 4-0. Pep Guardiola had a difficult night on his return to Barcelona. In the first leg of 2014-15 Champions League semi-finals, Messi saw off Guardiola's Bayern Munich with another 2 fantastic goals. The Spanish boss has refused to rule out a move for Messi in the future. So will they have a reunion in Etihad? Only time will tell. Firstly let's take a glance over the transfer market last week.

* Fabregas set to leave Chelsea for AC Milan?

7M Weekly - Barcelona thrashed 10-man Man City

With Hazard leading at the front, Fabregas missed a chance to play a key role. Even in summer, the Spaniard was linked with AC Milan. At that time, Fabregas still tried to remind Conte of his qualities. But things didn't go better. The midfielder was handed only 5 appearances this term. It's no wonder that his transferring rumors fly around. However, his wife dismissed these rumours on twitter, saying 'Is it that easy to make up stories these days ??'.

* Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain might leave Arsenal

7M Weekly - Barcelona thrashed 10-man Man City

The England midfielder came to Emirates 5 years ago, but he never played more than 30 games in any of these seasons. He decided to stay in north London this summer, though. The international has said that he is not happy when he is not playing. So he might leave Arsenal at the end of the season if Wenger doesn't give him more opportunities on the field.

* Arsenal linked with Icardi

Although the summer transfer window has closed for more than 1 month, Icardi's transferring rumour never quash. And now the captain was linked with the Gunners. Compared with one month ago, Arsenal could come nearer to him. The striker incensed Inter Milan fans, and could even lose the captaincy for what he has written in his autobiography.

* Pepe to Chelsea?

Pepe's contract will be expired in the next summer, and he can set his sights on a move to a club overseas in January. Pepe is strongly linked with Chelsea now. The Blues are in urgent need of strengthening their defensive options, though. Pepe is already 33 years old. Even if he could make a move to London, the centre-back would be a temporary fix then.

* Premier League Matchday 8

Chelsea FC 3-0 Leicester City

Diego Costa sent the home side ahead within eight minutes of kick-off over Premier League champions Leicester, who suffered a fourth consecutive away defeat in this league. Eden Hazard doubled the advantage and Victor Moses scored Chelsea's third goal to complete their victory. However, this match leaves Claudio Ranieri's side with only 8 points from their first 8 games.

Arsenal 3-2 Swansea City

10-man Arsenal have won their 6th straight game in Premier League with a 3-2 victory at the Emirates Stadium. Granit Xhaka was sent off and Theo Walcott scored two goals for Gunners. Swansea's new manager Bob Bradley lost his first match in charge. They came back from behind after going 2 goals down inside 33 minutes, but it was tougher Arsenal who had the last laugh.

Manchester City 1-1 Everton

Maarten Stekelenburg saved two penalties of Sergio Aguero and Kevin De Bruyne for Everton. Romelu Lukaku scored his sixth goal of the season for Everton, while Nolito headed in for the hosts.

Liverpool 0-0 Manchester United

David de Gea made two fine saves from Emre Can and Philippe Coutinho to secure a draw for Man United at Anfield. Even though Ibrahimovic has grabbed the best chance of the night, he failed to head Pogba's inch-perfect cross on target. The home side would have drawn level on points with Manchester City with a 5th consecutive Premier League victory, but a goalless draw left them staying at the 4th place of table.

* La Liga Matchday 8

Barcelona 4-0 Deportivo La Coruna

Lionel Messi's return helped Barcelona come back to the winning track. The fit-again Messi took less than 3 minutes to score on his return to La Liga as Barcelona secured a 4-0 win over Deportivo La Coruna at the Camp Nou. Luis Suarez was also on target.

Real Betis 1-6 Real Madrid

Real Madrid thrashed Real Betis 6-1 in La Liga on Saturday to end their winless records recently. Two goals from Isco, the other 4 goals from Varane, Benzema, Marcelo and Cristiano Ronaldo respectively earned a resounding victory for Zinedine Zidane's men. The win means Real are level on 18 points with league leaders Atletico, who are ahead on goal difference.

* UEFA Champions League Group Stage

Real Madrid 5-1 Legia Warszawa

Real Madrid successfully continued their momentum of winning the last league clash and saw off Legia Warsaw 5-1 comfortably in the Champions League. Gareth Bale scored his first goal in this tournament since 2014 to open the scoring. The 2nd goal of this match came from Tomasz Jodlowiec, who deflected in for an own goal. Then Marco Asensio, substitutes Lucas Vazquez and Alvaro Morata completed the scoring for Zidane's side.

Leicester City 1-0 FC Kobenhavn

Leicester striker Riyad Mahrez broke the deadlock five minutes before half-time, helping Foxes to continue their perfect start in Group G. Although their domestic records are not satisfactory, now Ranieri's men have already guaranteed at least a Europa League spot.

Arsenal 6-0 Ludogorets Razquad

Gunners achieved a 6-0 victory over Ludogorets, with Mesut Ozil scoring hat-trick, Alexis Sanchez, Theo Walcott and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain netting respectively. Manager Arsene Wenger are satisfactory with their performances, especially Ozil, saying that "He scores when he wants." Following this victory, Arsenal are top of Group A on goal difference. PSG stay in the second place.

Barcelona 4-0 Manchester City

Another star also presented hat-trick in the group match. Lionel Messi, ruthlessly scored over 10-man Manchester City on Pep Guardiola's return to Barcelona. 7M Weekly - Barcelona thrashed 10-man Man City

Barcelona defender Gerard Pique and Colombian singer Shakira have been together for 6 years. But do you know how Pique struck up conversation when they first met? They talked about weather! Pique explained to TV3, "It all started when we were together in South Africa and I wrote to her. She was already there because she sang in the opening ceremony and I asked her what the weather was like." Shakira's answer was something Pique was not quite expecting. "But she started telling me what the weather was like in every single moment and it got to the point where I told her we would have to get to the World Cup final to see her again - she was singing at the final." So it seems that weather is not the typically silly topic in the dating.
