A SPECTACULAR Paul Pogba goal set Twitter ablaze this evening after the Frenchman rifled home a 30-yard strike to silence his recent critics.

The £89m-man has come under fire for both club and country in recent weeks following a string of below-par performances.
But he proved his class once again despite the dip in form, firing Les Bleus ahead with a long-range rocket during their World Cup qualifying showdown with Holland tonight.
The former Juventus man picked the ball up deep inside the Orange half, sauntering through a non-existent Dutch midfield before unleashing a thunderbolt past Everton goalkeeper Marten Stekelenburg.

The strike sent fans on Twitter went crazy, with some claiming the keeper could have done much better.
"LMAO at Pogba's reaction after his goal today – that was a goalkeeping error you nutjob!” one viewer said.
Another viewer said: “The shot had a lot of power on it but I still think the goalkeeper should've done better.”
But some supporters gave Pogba a little more credit.

Earlier today, the United star’s agent chimed in on why he thought fans had yet to see the best of Paul Pogba.
"It is normal that it takes a bit of time to adjust to an environment that is so different to Turin,” said Mino Raiola.
"He will continue to move forward, soon they will notice it in England.”
