Antonio Conte has issued his backing for Cesc Fabregas, Cesar Azpilicueta and Pedro Rodriguez following their recent snub by Spain.
The Spanish trio were left out of their national team squad for their forthcoming World Cup qualifiers.
Chelsea have been in stuttering form this season under their new manager Conte and slumped to back to back Premier League defeats by Liverpool and Arsenal over the last few weeks.
Conte has been tasked with helping Chelsea bounce back from their disastrous campaign last season, when they ended up 10th in the Premier League table and with their title defence in tatters.
Their snub from the Spain squad represents a setback for all three Chelsea players.
However, Blues boss Conte feels that their time at Cobham during the international break will help them work harder to break back into the squad.
Speaking at a news conference before Saturday's trip to Hull, Conte said: "Azpi, Cesc and Pedro are three important players for Chelsea.
"They are working very well with great commitment and a good attitude, which is important.
"I think this can be an opportunity for them to work hard and try to get back into the Spain squad. We are talking about three great players."
